Seedy Drammeh is the Deputy Director of Human Resource at the Gambia Revenue Authority (the GRA).  Born in The Gambia in Jarra Sikunda Village Lower River Region, Seedy has written more than thirty four books, eleven (11) of which were approved by the Curriculum, Research, Evaluation & Development Directorate on 17th May, 2022 for use as supplementary materials for the Senior Secondary Schools and Higher Institutes of learning in The Gambia.

In addition to the in-depth perusal of his eleven books approved for use in schools, Seedy Drammeh has received some inspirational awards through writing such as Certificate of Commendation awarded to him by the Office of the President State House Banjul, signed by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of The Gambia Mr. Adama Barrow in recognition of his contribution in reviewing the country’s first National Security Strategy and Security Sector Reform Strategy. Likewise, from the Young Writers Association in The Gambia during the First Kunta Kinteh International Book Festival.

The Certificate of Commendation awarded by the Young Writers Association was in recognition of his book entitled, Contribution of Corporate Governance, Effective leadership, HR Management and Networking to the advancement of people & institutions.

Moreover, Seedy was awarded Certificate of Appreciation for contributing towards the review and launch of a book written by a young writer in The Gambia.
